Evaluate Conviction Funding Pilot Data Using cadCAD
Proposal Information
Proposal description:
Fund a small BlockScience team to review, critically analyze & report on the results of the 6 week Aragon Conviction Funding experiment with two goals:
- Preliminary assessment of Conviction Voting suitability for larger scale systems (noting that previous tests on 1Hive were much smaller scale)
- Improve understanding and iterate on Conviction Voting algorithm and application (noting that CV is parameterized and modular so learnings can be applied to future implementations)
Proposal Rationale
This proposal will fund a small team of data scientists and communicators who are deeply familiar with the Conviction Voting algorithm to do a full analysis and report back on the results of this pilot. Work is offered below (estimated) cost to BlockScience.
Proposal Tasks:
- Acquire data from CF experiment, import into python data science environment
- Produce pilot analysis and evaluation of algorithm performance in python notebook(s)
- Executive summary article with links to analysis notebooks published in Aragon forum
Expected duration or delivery date (if applicable):
2-3 weeks after the conclusion of the 6 week CF pilot.
