First of all id like to say thank you to everyone who voted for AGP-88 (CRDAO). Over 1.3 million ANT supported the proposal 
Next steps
- This week, @burrrata and I will set up a new Rinkeby DAO with the same apps and permissions as the mainnet DAO.
- Next week we will open applications for membership of CRDAO, the first cohort of CRDAO members will be on-boarded into this organization
- After onboarding the first set of members, we will do a dry run of the nominations and allocations process with this Rinkeby DAO
- If everything goes smoothly and there is no concerns with the DAOs permissions we will migrate the Rinkeby DAO to a mainnet DAO and request the AA send the funds to this new DAO
CRDAO Membership Criteria
The membership criteria are designed to be inclusive as possible, we want to give as many people in the community the experience of working together in a real mainnet DAO. the only criteria for membership are
- Active: you must already be active in the Aragon community. By active we mean participating in discussions on the forum, rocket chat, or contributing code to an Aragon based project
- Engaged: you must be willing to engage in CRDAO governance
- Constructive: you must be constructive and contribute towards a positive environment. The purpose of CRDAO is to reward and encourage community participation. If you are not contributing constructively you will not be granted membership or quickly offboarded
Expectations
The CRDAO process is designed to be as lightweight as possible. but members will be required to
- contribute to CRDAO discussions
- vote on open Member votes
- vote in weekly CRDAO allocations
this shouldn’t take up more than 30 min of your time per week.
