Community Experience Squad Season 1 Request for Funding

ESD General Meeting 2 May 2022 UTC 1900: Limited consensus

ESD Majority agreement, no need for Main DAO proposal

These limitations were decided by the ESD in the previous season and included in the documentation that was open to significant discussion before posting in the forum and voting. It would seem unfair to change the standard only after people have committed time and energy to develop ESD proposals. We have the budget to support these community efforts. This will be the final season of ESD funding available to this team and we look forward to supporting S2 Main DAO proposals.

ESD Majority agreement ESD will not fund the S1 mentor program cc @Sixto5

Approval of the full budget awaits pivot to the DAO Experts function, which we @fartunov @lee0007 see aligns really well with this team due to their very high visibility and oversight within Discord and their talent scouting roles.

Supporting the Aragon App GtM is a leading priority for S1 ESD funding that very few teams aligned on and we appreciate your ongoing efforts @Shawncubbedge and team to pivot and align on strategic funding priorities.

ESD are committed to finalising this funding decision asynch within seven days of an updated proposal.

This is absolutely wonderful.
We will be making the edits tomorrow during our meeting, I will edit the proposal on the forum afterward and then tag the 3 of you.

Question: Do I need to do a report for the month of April or should I begin reports next month?

For April rewards you’ll need an approved proposal and April reporting on the proposed and funded deliverables

@lee0007 @fartunov @daniel-ospina

I’ve gone through and added the DAO Experts to the Community Experience Proposal. If you have any questions please let me know.

Love your work community team. Thank you for clear reporting on you deliverables. Can you please include a summary of the total May funding to be paid with a link to the contributor rewards sheet.

Awesome ive added the break down.

On a separate note, I just noticed a typo in the proposal. At the top when i break down the funds requested i requested 4000 for bounties. Then at the bottom when i broke it down i forgot to change it from 2000 to 4000 when i made that edit. I noticed in the Contributor rewards sheet it has the 2000 for bounties instead of the 4000. Not sure how we should handle this.

For consistency, can I ask that you use the EOM template format all we need is a summary

Funding Request

  • USCD 90% Total
  • ANT 10% Total
  • Amount Contributor Rewards
  • Amount Flexible Rewards
  • Amount Bounty Rewards

Contributor Rewards Sheet

I’m not a fan of sharing individual contributor detail at this level, although it is helpful due to the lack of financial transparency in the xls

Done. Sorry about that

1/3 approved @daniel-ospina @fartunov

2/3 approved.
I think it will be helpful to have some detail here on the metrics:

How are they defined and why they were chosen. As we transition through seasons metrics might change and having a track of the arguments why a certain metric was added or removed will help continuity and learning

You make an excellent point @fartunov I’ll add a page to that Notion and add in the method behind the Metrics. Thank you sir.
